Its chemical formula is K3AlF6, with a molar mass of 258.28 g/mol. This compound is also employed in pyrotechnics and the formulation of welding powders.

        It appears as an off-white, fine powder and is insoluble in water, with a melting point of 570 degrees Celsius. Our Potassium Cryolite is free from impurities and ensures highly effective results. It is also known as potassium aluminum fluoride or tripotassium hexafluoroaluminate.
