Product Description

Product Introduction: 

Cryolite is a kind of complex compound or double salt. Caused by impurity, the appearance can be white, gray ,yellow powder or crystalline particles. It's melting point is 1025ºC, stacking density is 0.6-1.0g/L, true density is 2.95-3.05g/cm3 , heat of formation is 225KJ, specific gravity is 2.75-3.00g/cm3 , heat of fusion is 107KJ. Slightly soluble in water.

Applications:
 

It is mainly used as a flux for aluminum electrolysis . It is also used as a wear - resistant additive for abrasives ( resin wheels , abrasive cloths ), fluxes for welding consumables ( welding rods , welding wires , fluxes ), and resistance to friction materials ( friction plates , brake pads ). Grinding additives , fluxes for ferroalloys and boiling steels , non - ferrous metal fluxes ( refining agents , slag -removing agents , slag removing agents , etc .), deoxidizer slag removers ,enamel emulsifiers , glass opacifiers , ceramic glaze fillers , Pesticides , insecti-cides , fireworks and firecrackers , explosives , smokers , refractories , etc .
