Potassium Aluminum Fluoride is a commercial grade fused solid, inorganic salt. The material serves as an alternative to conventional fluoride salts for a variety of applications, a few of which are listed below.
The size can be:1-3mm, 20, 40, 100, 200 and 325mesh. It is composed by KF-AlF3, Molecular rate near 1.2, melting point 557-580. Solubility in 1000g water: at 0: 0.8g; at 25: 1.42g, at 100: 4.58g.
White or grey-white crystal powder;Melting point 560℃.
Solubility in 1Kg water: at 0 ℃ : 0.86g; at 25 ℃ : 1.42g,at 100 ℃ : 4.58g.
